Stand Up To Cancer: The Power Of Vitamin C

The Power Of Vitamin CThe power of vitamin C to cure cancer and viruses

The power of vitamin C was discovered by a doctor called Frederick Klenner in 1918Doctor Klenner was experimenting with large doses of intravenous vitamin C for polio, diphtheria and scurvy and was having great success. He discovered by accident in 1918 that C cured the flu. His family were dosing themselves with a medicinal plant called ‘Boneset’ during a flu epidemicin the form of a tea. It was later that he discovered it contained a high amount of C. [1] it was this discovery that spurred him on to find that C cured viruses. Klenner used 6000 – 20,000 mg of C in a 24 hour period and stated that:

“When proper amounts are used, it will destroy all virus organisms.”  “Don’t expect control of a virus with 100 to 400 mg of C.”

“When I first came across Klenner’s work on polio patients.” “I was absolutely amazed and even a bit overwhelmed at what I read.” Thomas Levy

“To know that polio had been easily cured and so many babies, children, and some adults still continued to die or survive to be permanently crippled by this virus was extremely difficult to accept.”  Andrew W. Saul [2]

High doses of C were used in the forties and fifties to treat the so called viral incurables.

It’s estimated that 15 percent of all human cancers worldwide may be attributed to viruses [1], representing a significant portion of the global cancer burden. Both DNA and RNA viruses have been shown to be capable of causing cancer in humans.

The Power of vitamin C to kill off cancer cells and cancer causing viruses

C is a substance that establishes cell communication. It encourages the cells to produce their own hydrogen peroxide which produces two parts water atom with one part oxygen atom. Cancer cells hate oxygen and increasing cellular oxygen levels kills cancer cells.

Vitamin C also scavenges free radicals. Everybody has free radicals because we need them, but people with cancer have more free radicals than they do antioxidants so the body balance is ‘out of whack’. However, large doses of vitamin C will scavenge the free radicals.

Dr Patrick Kingsley treated his patients with large doses of C in the form of Magnesium Ascorbate along with Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Chromium, Manganese and all the B vitamins. He would start the dosing of C at 5mg for the first time, 25mg the second time and up to 50mg the third. If necessary he would administer as much as 75mg. He said that he found that the living conditions in America were much more toxic than the UK so they would need the higher doses. Generally people who had no chemotherapy or radiotherapy, responded the best and the quickest to the treatment.[3]

Vitamin C can be taken orally

Taking large doses of vitamin C orally can cause stomach upset and bowel intolerance. However, this is not the case when it is administered intravenously. If you want to take high doses vitamin C by mouth then you need to get a buffered variety in the form of Magnesium Ascorbate or Potassium Ascorbate. Increase the amount gradually from 3mg a day to 16mg a day, spaced out in several doses.

The use of hydrogen peroxide as an alternative to C

Hydrogen peroxide can be administered if there is an intolerance to high doses of C and it is given on its own without the nutrients. Very effective against Candida Albicans and the flu while being totally safe. The dose of 0.03% diluted in saline is perfectly safe and effective. Hydrogen peroxide has been taken by mouth by millions and it is well known that it solves just about every medical problem you can think of. However, it can be an irritant to your intestines so intravenous is better.

When it’s injected it breaks down into oxygen and water. Cancer can not survive in an oxygen rich environment. The right solution strength needs to be given so as not to irritate the veins. Hydrogen peroxide is used especially if the patient is suffering from a fungal infection. Another plus is that it’s a cheaper form of treatment than the vitamin solution.[4]

Here are some common whole food sources of Vitamin C:

Oranges, Lemons, Limes, Kiwi, Canteloupe, Papaya, Strawberries, Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Kale and Peppers.

“Super foods” with the highest concentration of Vitamin C on planet earth are
Camu Camu Fruit, Amla (Indian Gooseberry), and Acerola Cherries. In that order.
